Precautions for installation and use of AC contactor

1 problems in the operation of AC contactor

AC contactor is a widely used control appliance, which is mainly used to control the operation and stop of electric equipment such as motors. After the ordinary AC contactor is pulled in, the coil of AC contactor is still connected with AC, and the power consumption is relatively large, so the coil heating and noise are common, It not only wastes electric energy, but also the insulation of the coil is easy to age, which shortens the service life of the AC contactor

2 function and use effect of AC contactor energy-saving module

after using the energy-saving module on the ordinary AC contactor, the power consumption of the AC contactor in the pull-in state will be greatly reduced, and the coil temperature will also be greatly reduced, so that the insulation layer of the contactor coil will not age due to high temperature, thus extending the service life of the contactor. The AC contactor will save the results to the database, and the noise will be greatly reduced under the pull in state, so as to improve the environmental conditions of the place where the contactor is used. Ordinary AC contactors can only work within the range of 85% - 110% of the rated voltage. When the voltage at both ends of the coil is higher than 110% of the rated voltage, the coil of the AC contactor may be burned due to heating. After installing this module on the contactor, the ability of the AC contactor to withstand voltage fluctuations is enhanced. When the operating power supply voltage is too high, the coil of the AC contactor will not be burned due to heating

after adding the module, the sound of contactor closing is clear and powerful. The current in the closing state is only 10% - 40% of that without adding the module, and the power saving rate is 90% - 60%. Moreover, the noise after the contactor is pulled in is reduced, and the contactor remains pulled in for a long time. There is no obvious temperature rise on the surface of the contactor coil, and even a cold feeling. For the CJA contactor test, without the energy-saving module (coil voltage 220V), the voltage when the contactor reaches a stable state after pulling in is 220V, the current is 0.615a, the noise is 52.5db, and the temperature is 105.2 ℃. After installing the module, the voltage when it reaches a stable state is 220V The current is 0.184a, the noise is 36.6db, the temperature is 26.8 ℃, and the apparent power saving rate is 70%. It can be seen from the above tests that after installing qcj AC contactor energy-saving module in the contactor coil circuit, the current, noise and temperature rise of the contactor are greatly reduced, which proves that the module can reduce the coil circuit current, noise and temperature rise of the AC contactor

now all street lamps in Kangbao County have been installed with this module, which completely solves the interference of noise on residents when contactors work at night, and saves a lot of electricity bills

3 installation and application of AC contactor energy-saving module and re list the marks of A.B.C mound

there are two input terminals on the top of the module, and two output wires on both sides of the lower part of the module. Connect the two output wires on the lower part of the module to the terminals (A1, A2) of the AC contactor coil, and put the output force on the top of the module into the terminal to connect the control circuit of the AC contactor

the working voltage of the energy-saving module is AC220V, and the input end can only be connected to the 220V operating power supply. It is strictly forbidden to connect to the 380V power supply, but the output of this module can drive the AC contactor with the rated voltage of 380V of the coil. Please pay special attention to this

specific operation method if the coil voltage of the contactor is 220V, just remove the wire originally connected to the coil of the AC contactor from the wiring terminal, connect it to the input terminal of this module, and then connect the output wire of this module to the coil of the AC contactor (that is, connect this module in series to the coil circuit of the contactor). If the coil voltage of the original contactor is 380V, this module should be connected to the coil circuit of the AC contactor. At the same time, one of the two power lines of the original control line should be connected to the N line, which cannot be moved up and down (the original control power line is connected to two phase lines, and the voltage is 380V. Now change one of the lines to the N line, so that the control voltage is changed to 220V), If there are indicator lights, intermediate relays, time relays and other components with a rated voltage of 380V in the original control circuit, these components should also be replaced with components with a rated voltage of 220V

if it is the control circuit of a newly installed AC contactor, it is recommended to purchase an AC contactor with a coil rated voltage of 380V, because although this module can drive two AC contactors with a coil rated voltage of 220V and 380V, the module used by the 380V contactor is one gear smaller (or two gears) than the module used by the 220V contactor. Under the condition of the same current carrying capacity of the main contact of the contactor, The current required to drive 380V contactors will be smaller, the energy-saving effect will be better, and the prices of 220V and 380V contactors are basically the same, so it is recommended to give priority to 380V AC contactors
